Ingrown Hairs

Ingrown hairs afftect the hairy areas of all racial groups.  Those with curly hair in the beard or bikini areas are especially prone to develop this sometimes painful problem.  Ingrown hairs generally only develop after the hair has been removed or cut.  The new growing hair curls into the adjacent skin creating a red swollen bump.  The hair eventually finds its way back to the skin surface but many individuals need help to alleviate the problem faster.  Change of shaving method or professional hair removal done with laser or waxing may control the problem.  The methods which take the removal out of the person's own hands works best for severe cases.
