Restylane is an FDA-approved, synethetic, non-animal derived hyaluronic acid injectable filling product which is used to correct frown lines, lips, wrinkles and scars in the face. Hyaluronic acid is found in human skin naturally and helps to provide the skin with hydration and fullness. Restylane administration requires one to two sessions with Dr. Hatcher to achieve optimal improvement of your folds and wrinkles. You may experience some swelling, redness or bruising for several days after your treatment but this does not usually interfere with routine commitments. The benefits of Restylane last up to six months and often patients notice additional fullness after the first month of administration.
Learn how your unwanted lines and folds can be reversed by having a consultation with Dr. Hatcher to learn whether Restylane is right for you.

Collagen for Facial Scars and Wrinkles
Collagen is a naturally occurring protein in the skin that can, over time, degenerate due to aging, scarring or sun-damage. This degeneration can be replaced with injectable collagen elevating and smoothing wrinkles and scars resulting from acne, chickenpox or skin injury. By precisely adding collagen to the skin, unwanted lines and scars can be diminished, providing a smooth contour of the skin. Commonly treated areas include the laugh or smile lines along the cheeks and the furrows that emanate from the corners around the mouth. Thin lips and wrinkles of the upper lip can be treated to enhance the fullness of the lips and provide a more youthful upper lip.
Collagen implantation lasts for three to six months, after that it may need replenishing. Allergic reactions to collagen are rare and each patient is screened by history and skin testing prior to the procedure.
